SharkBite® Reducing Coupling
The SharkBite® Reducing Coupling is designed to join pipes of different sizes quickly and securely. Also known as Yorkflex or SharkBite Connectors, these fittings provide a reliable push-to-connect solution without the need for soldering, clamps, unions, or glue.
Made from solid forged DZR brass, the coupling is durable, corrosion-resistant, and compliant with Australian standards. It is suitable for potable water, hydronic heating, and installations underground or behind walls. The integral tube liner ensures a secure connection for PEX pipes, and fittings can be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces.
