The DWV Level Invert Taper (LIT) is a specialised pipe fitting designed to reduce the diameter of a drainage pipe run while maintaining a consistent invert level. This fitting ensures smooth transitions in flow direction without creating internal steps that may impede water or waste movement.

The LIT features a large end that fits into a larger pipe and a smaller end that allows a smaller pipe to fit into it. Unlike standard socket reducers, the LIT is engineered to maintain hydraulic flow levels, making it ideal for graded drain lines where consistent flow is critical.
