The DWV Plain Bend 300mm 45° is a durable PVC-U fitting designed to change the direction of pipework by 45 degrees smoothly. With a plain end where the pipe fits inside the fitting, this bend ensures efficient drainage flow in a variety of domestic and commercial applications. Available in a wide range of sizes from 40mm up to 300mm, it’s a versatile solution for your plumbing needs.

• Manufactured slightly less than 90° (typically 85-88°) for optimal drainage

Applications:

Material and Construction:
Made from rigid PVC-U, this fitting offers excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and biological degradation. The material’s toughness and flexibility make it easy to handle and install, while maintaining hydraulic efficiency.

Installation:

• Join with solvent cement as per PVC-U installation guidelines
• Joints require a 24-hour curing period to achieve full mechanical strength
• Compatible with 6-meter length DWV pipes

Performance:

• Operating temperature range: 0°C to 50°C
• Suitable for both above-ground and underground installations
• Resistant to short-term UV exposure (long-term exposure is not recommended)
• Complies with AS/NZS 1260 standards for DWV pipes and fittings
