Product Fit, Compliance & Certifications
WELS is Australia's water efficiency labelling. Higher star ratings mean less water usage without sacrificing performance. In Victoria, many products must display WELS - check the product page for flow rates and stars.
Where required, products carry WaterMark certification to show compliance with Australian standards. Look in the Specifications tab or ask us for the datasheet.
S-trap connects to the floor; P-trap connects to the wall. Match the suite to your existing waste outlet and set-out. If you're unsure, send us photos and measurements - we'll help you choose.
Allow for stud nogging/support, waste and water in the wall, and GPO clearance if using a lit mirror/demist. Check the product's spec sheet for exact heights and mounting points.
Thermostatic mixers hold a set temperature and respond quickly to pressure changes - safer for kids and consistent for multi-user homes. They're great with multiple outlets.
Yes. Plumbing works in Victoria must be carried out by a licensed plumber. You'll also get a compliance certificate for eligible works - keep it with your records.
Generally yes. Rimless designs remove the hidden rim channel, reducing bacteria buildup and making cleaning easier while improving flush performance.
PEX is flexible, fast to install, and corrosion-resistant. Copper is durable, heat-tolerant, and time-tested. The best choice depends on application, budget, and installer preference.
Framed is robust and budget-friendly; semi-frameless balances strength and clean lines; frameless looks premium and maximises space. Measure carefully and check door swing/clearances.
Yes - just allow for in-wall plumbing and access. Check the bath's lip and mixer reach so the spout clears comfortably. Use the spec sheets to confirm dimensions.
Tapware, Showers & Accessories
Colour tones vary by brand. For a perfect match, use one brand across the set or request finish samples. If mixing, keep to similar tones and textures across the room.
Brushed finishes can patina slightly over time. Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water - avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads. Rinse and dry after use to reduce spotting.
Rails 600-900 mm suit most family showers. If multiple users, choose an adjustable rail with a handset - great for kids and easy cleaning.
Usually no. Most brands require their own in-wall body. If you're renovating, decide the brand before rough-in and keep the same series for trims and bodies.
Often yes with compatible fittings. A diverter or combo rail set can add flexibility without major plumbing changes. Bring photos and we'll suggest the simplest path.
Ceramic discs are smoother, longer-lasting, and less prone to drips than rubber washers. They're standard in most modern mixers and many tap sets.
Yes - install solid nogging or a mounting panel at the correct height. Check the vanity's fixing points and weight. Use suitable anchors and ensure a level, plumb finish.
Look for moisture-resistant board (MR), PVC or waterproof carcasses, well-sealed edges, and durable finishes. Stone or solid-surface tops handle heavy use well.
Yes, but electrical works in bathrooms must be done by a licensed electrician. Confirm the IP rating and switching method, and follow the product's wiring guide.
Use IP ratings appropriate to the bathroom zone - higher near showers/baths. As a guide, IP44+ is common in wet areas, but always follow the product specs and electrician's advice.
Toilets & Plumbing Essentials
Measure from the finished wall to the centre of the waste outlet (floor or wall). Common floor set-outs are 140-160 mm. A pan connector can help adapt older set-outs.
Often yes. Universal or adjustable pan collars can convert tricky set-outs. Check clearances and use a licensed plumber for a sealed, compliant install.
Choose a durable seat with stainless or metal hinges and quick-release for cleaning. Stick to the same brand as the suite for best fit and spare-part availability.
Ordering, Stock & Special Orders
Many are, but some are supplier-stocked or special-order. Product pages show stock status or lead times. Chat us if you need something by a specific date.
Most special orders arrive in 3-10 business days; some finishes or made-to-order items can take longer. We'll confirm the ETA when you place the order.
Yes - ask us for spec sheets, cut-sheets, or finish samples where available. We can also suggest matching products across your project.
We'll try. Share photos, model numbers, and measurements. Our team can check supplier archives and recommend current equivalents if the original is unavailable.
