PVC Pressure Reducing Tee – Category 19

Description:
PVC Pressure Reducing Tees are designed to create a branch in a pressure pipe system where the branch is of a smaller diameter than the main run. The branch (also called the centre) is at a 90° angle to the main run, which maintains equal sizing at both ends. These reducing tees are ideal for irrigation, water supply, and pressure pipeline systems requiring a step-down in pipe size.

Key Features:

  • Made from durable PVC-U for long-lasting use
  • Main run ends fit over pipe; branch end accommodates smaller pipe
  • Suitable for above-ground and underground applications
  • White/off-white finish
  • Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to install

Applications:

  • Pumped sewerage and effluent pipelines
  • Potable water and recycled water systems
  • Irrigation and turf watering
  • Slurry transport
  • Pressure sewerage and water supply systems

Specifications:

  • Material: PVC-U (unplasticized)
  • Connection Type: Solvent cement joint (SCJ)
  • Pressure Rating: PN18 (1800 kPa); pipe available from PN4.5 (450 kPa) to PN18
  • Temperature Range: 0°C to 50°C (special considerations outside this range)
  • Standards: AS/NZS 1477, AS/NZS 4020, Watermark compliant
