SharkBite® Brazing Tail

The SharkBite® Brazing Tail is designed to adapt SharkBite® PEX pipe to copper via welding the copper tube inside the fitting. Also known as Yorkflex, the tail is inserted into a SharkBite® fitting once it has cooled, creating a secure and reliable connection.

Constructed from solid forged DZR brass, the brazing tail is durable, corrosion-resistant, and certified to Australian standards. This fitting maintains the integrity of the SharkBite® push-to-connect system, ensuring a dependable seal for potable water and hydronic heating installations.
