MC051 Moulded Carbon cartridge is engineered to reduce chlorine taste and odour, sediment and some organic chemicals while helping resist premature plugging.

Moulded Carbon Technology

The MC051 cartridge is modified moulded blocks manufactured using proprietary technology, creating a unique filter media by attaching powdered activated carbon onto a cellulose-free synthetic fibre matrix. The result is a single cartridge that combines the benefits of both a sediment filter and a carbon block. Benefits include low pressure drop over the entire life of the cartridge and up to three times the chlorine taste & odour and dirt-holding capacity of traditional carbon blocks. A unique post-filtration layer means the technology will not release fines into the effluent stream.
