The Puretec SF24-2 twin-pack replacement cartridge contains a redox reaction filtration media that filters both free and combined chlorine, dirt, sediment, odours, hydrogen sulfide, iron oxides and more from shower water.
Redox Reaction Filtration
A redox reaction transfers electrons between molecules, creating new elements — when free chlorine contacts the filtration media, it's changed into a benign, water-soluble chloride, too large to be absorbed by the skin, and is carried harmlessly through the water supply.
