The tape has no cloth, and thus will stretch as it is applied. This makes it perfect for connecting duct lines where temperature does not rise above 50 degrees C
The stretch makes it equally useful for general household tasks or for building industry applications.
The tape should be applied on a clean and dry surface.
Apply the tape with a moderate tension and with an overlap of 50%.

The term "Duct tape" has different meanings in Australia than, say, USA. USA uses Duct tape to mean a cloth-impregnated taper. This is unsuitable for duct work. Is does not stretch and will not withstand temperatures.
Do not use duct tape as electrical tape. Duct tape does not have electrical conductivity nor performance specifications of electrical PVC tape.< /p>
