The upstand allows the waterproofing system to be integrated into the wall-side installation and provides a practical surface for completing the shower area neatly. When the grate is positioned away from the wall, the upstand can be broken off to suit the installation.

20mm Waterproofing Flange

The Strip Grate VL collection channel incorporates a 20mm flange, allowing the channel to be waterproofed into place as part of the shower installation.

The tiler can run the screed up to the channel before the waterproofer applies the waterproofing system over the screed and grate system. Once waterproofing has been completed, the shower area is ready for tiling.

Easy to Install

The Strip Grate VL is designed to provide a straightforward installation process for tradespeople. Simply cut the grate to the required size, glue the end caps and spigot into place, and install the channel into the shower base.

After the screed and waterproofing have been completed, the shower area can be tiled. The unique spacer system allows the grate to be raised to the appropriate height, helping achieve a flush finish with the surrounding floor tiles.

Flexible Outlet Positioning

The outlet spigot can be positioned along the collection channel wherever required, providing flexibility when connecting the shower drain to the plumbing system.

The collection channel is designed to integrate into the plumbing system by connecting directly to a 50mm PVC S-trap.
