Removable 20mm Upstand

A 20mm snap-off upstand runs along the collection channel and provides additional flexibility during installation. When the shower grate is positioned against a wall, the upstand can assist with against-wall waterproofing and allows the tiling to be completed neatly against the wall.

The upstand can also be broken off when the grate is positioned away from the wall, making the system adaptable to different shower layouts.

20mm Waterproofing Flange

The Strip Grate VL collection channel features a 20mm flange designed to allow the drain to be waterproofed into place.

During installation, the tiler can run the screed up to the channel before the waterproofer applies the waterproofing system over the screed and grate system. Once waterproofing is complete, the area is ready for tiling.

Easy to Install

The Strip Grate VL is designed for a straightforward installation process. The grate and collection channel can be cut to the required size, with the end caps and spigot glued into place before the system is installed into the shower base.

After the screed and waterproofing have been completed, the shower area can be tiled. The unique spacer system allows the grate to be raised to the appropriate height, helping achieve a neat, flush finish with the surrounding floor tiles.

Flexible Outlet Positioning

The outlet spigot can be positioned along the collection channel according to the requirements of the installation. This provides greater flexibility when connecting the shower drain to the plumbing system and helps accommodate different outlet positions.
